The Dead City Chronicles

'The Dead City Chronicles' is a gripping apocalyptic dystopian series about the aftermath of a manmade global viral outbreak that killed billions. Chapters are to be released weekly.

A little background before we begin.

I began writing Dead City way back in February 2020 and had it on pre-order. By March I no longer had the stomach for it, cancelled the pre-order, and turned to writing lighter novels to lift my mood and save my sanity.

Fast forward to February 2023 and much has changed, my eyes have been opened very, very wide, and I’m ready to write this book.

I had almost forgotten about it until a few months ago when a reader contacted me asking if it was written yet. He’d kept a tab open for two years waiting for news of its publication!

Obviously, I have to write this book. So here we are. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Dead City:

Seven months after a manmade virus was unleashed upon humanity killing billions, a ‘cure’ was developed.

They said it saved millions.

It changed them forever.

Now there are two types of survivor: the Cured, and the Immune.

The Immune have become the enemy.

Two years after being ‘cured’, Joel Franklin lives in one of the country's many containment cities, working twelve-hour shifts, seven days a week, at a heavily guarded food production facility on its outskirts.

Under constant surveillance, he lives in fear, waiting each day for the mutations that will mark him out as a 'live threat', a man to be 'removed' from the population, to appear.

Everything changes the day he meets Amy.
